Lofer has many places of interest to offer due to its long history. Discover the fortress ruins Pass Strub, or follow the tracks of the Saalachtal lumbermen through the old Triftsteig and the Teufelsschlucht in the direction of Unken.

You will find a gothic parish church from the 15th century in the middle of the town, or the Lofer Heimathaus (community centre). Much more places of interest are waiting to be discovered.
